  1. arpit agarwal Says:

    answer is option 4th.
    3 families, 4girls, 5 boys, 6 adults.

  2. sudhan Says:

take families as x now we have condition that

    2x>(3x/2+y)>(3x/2-y)>x
keeping in mind the condition take all the values of x starting from lowest i9n the option. the value for which all of the become integers is the correct one (y can have any fractional or integer value)

  3. Raza Says:

Let A, B, G, F denotes Total number of Adults, Boys, Girls and Families in the society.
    1. so A > B > G > F
    2. A = 3F (As minimum 3 child per family)
    4. Objective is to find Minimum possible no. of families
    5. From options lets take two (minimum)
    6. So, A = 6 (from 2 and 3)
    7. As B > G, (B,G) can be (4,2), (5,1) or (6,0) (at least)
    8. In this situation A is not greater than any value of B.
    9. Thus option 3 is wrong
    10. Selecting next higher figure i.e. 3 we get the answer
    11. Hence Option 4 is right

  4. ayush Says:

    2x>(3x-y)>y>x

    3x > 2y
    solving for x=2 , 6 > 2y where y is greater than 2 is none

    3x > 2y
    solving for x=3, 9 > 2y where y is greater than 3 is 4
    and solve other numbers
